Awesome video Grant! I would put you in the Top 3 of all Crappie if not all around fish guide on YT. I have literally watched thousands. I just color correct the footage in post production. Most other fishing channels don't put that kind of effort in ;) I just love video editing.

Thanks for the tutorial with DI, in your personal opinion at what depth are crappie liable to spook because one drove over them with the big motor going, also for the trolling motor?

Probably around 10-12’ down. They didn’t used to be but the water clarity has gotten pretty gin lately, but I prefer that. They come screaming in from a ways away.

I notice that your lake map shows 20 to 30 foot of water by the the edge of river channel. Most lakes here in Oklahoma, it can be 40 to 60 foot of water near the river channel. Will I find crappie that deep? Thanks Brian

While it’s possible I don’t think in Oklahoma you’d be targeting crappie that deep. And you’d better be keeping every one of them, because fish caught from those depths won’t survive the trip up due to barotrauma.
