I spent some time in Wester Ross in 2005, and walking along some of the loch's I can remember the faint aroma of the peat, and the light brownish tinge to the waters. It was beautiful. Wish I had had a fat bike back then to see more of it. Great job of filming! Beautiful homage' to a beautiful place!

Great video would love to try this kayaked it last year with my wife.Is there a rideable track the whole way round? Did you cross the Loch at Taynuilt
@smurfybloke10 жыл бұрын
Track all the way round - though 'track' can be a generous term in places! It would be hard going with a 26er I'd say, but perfectly passable. Yes, we crossed at Taynuilt. Andy, one of the riders in our group, arranged the boat charter in advance (Loch Etive Cruises). I'm not sure it would be an option during the summer as they're obviously busier with loch cruises then.

Hi Jason Great video, I am looking at coming up towards the end of August for a few days, where did you start from and did you ride the eastern shore first and cross over to the west or vice versa. What peer did you use for your pick up by the ferry? Many Thanks John
@smurfybloke10 жыл бұрын
Thank you :-) We parked at the NE end and rode clockwise, riding E shore first as you say. The boat crossing was pre-booked, and Donald (see company name at end of video) told us where he'd meet us. A fairly obvious, signposted jetty. I don't know if he could provide transport during summer since it's a cruise service rather than ferry.
