I've loved this tune since I first heard it performed by "Feast of Fiddles"-your rendition is absolutely great, and played at the right tempo, rather than being "rushed" ,as so often the case.Very well done, and kind regards from this "sassenac"!

So is this 3 part harmony or 2 part? If three, where can I get harmony parts?

Thank you for respecting the anacrusis and realizing those first beat notes are pick-up notes..! The first quarter note F is where beat one is just as you correctly have it. I really struggle with pipers and bands that refuse to understand that simple musical concept. Great harmonies, would love to get a copy!

I know others have asked, but is there sheet music for this, and is it attainable? I've been looking for harmonies for this tune for ages!

Hello What instrument is this? Cause it doesn't sound like a great highland bagpipe as it is show on the picture. Thanks

Arnaud Bechet Its a practice chanter which is an instrument invented to learn the finger technique needed to play the great highland bagpipes.

Sounds like a practice chanter with a drone. Blue MacMurchie of MacMurchie Bagpipes based at West Calder, West Lothian in Scotland makes them. I had one and it sounded great, a bit like Practice Pipes without the loudness of the Highland Bagpipes, really good for playing in a small social setting. cost about £90 plus £10 P&P, I think.
