Solar is a terrible idea when dealing with security.. No sun No locks--NO WAY! Well unless you want to stack 12 deep cycle batteries to compensate for dreary days..👎🏼

Mag locks are used in conjunction with battery back-ups. Yes -if there is a fire code issue the system is run thru a fire panel. Cool idea, but jump the fence and the $1200+ install is mute. I install mags every week and go back quite aways.
