Yo just wanted to let y'all know about a pretty cool fan theory. Alfie actually did die when Tommy shot him. Every time Alfie shows up after that is just a hallucination, a side effect of Tom's skull getting cracked. Every time we see Alfie after he's shot, it's only ever Tommy and Alfie who are present. Nothing Alfie does after he's shot has any effect on the world. The ships he shoots at regularly never caused any real problems. The Jews would've showed up at Mosley's rally regardless, on account of Mosley being a Nazi. Since we see Grace and Ruby, it's been established that Tommy has had hallucinations ever since his brain injury. And lastly, before Alfie was shot he told Tommy that he was going to Margate, a place Alfie described as heaven. Also when Tommy said "The 11th hour, armistice. Peace at last." before sparing the doctor's life, he was referring to WWI. WWI ended when an armistice was declared on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. 11 AM, November 11th, 1918.

It's kinda fucked tho, the allies were still trying to advance into Germany as much as possible all the way to the 11th hour deadline to take as much territory as possible to have the strongest position possible during the peace talks for the treaty of versailles. So guys died all the way up to the 11th hour even though higher ups knew the armistice was going into effect just a few hours later.

A couple of cool details from this season and the show in general: The Gray Man that Ruby was talking about is the doctor. He's wearing a gray suit. And in the first shot of the series in episode 1 season 1 Tommy's rides in on a black horse. Last show of the series he rides off on a white horse. The black horse representing his dark side. Now he's reborn anew riding off on a white horse.

How has he been reborn? He killed Michael if there was any character that didn't deserve to die it was him. Michael was brought into the life by Tommy. It was Tommy's fault that Polly got killed because Tom had that stupid Rube Goldberg Tom, and Jerry plan to kill the fascist dude. Tommy was the one who first began pushing against Michael, thinking that he was a traitor, when Michael still has bullets inside of him from John and has also killed a man for Tommy, but no we have to kill Michael because we have to show Tommy as this super cool badass character who always wins. But then Tommy, for an inexplicable reason, spares a NAZI DOCTORS LIFE! I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with rebirth because Tommy's been deserving of getting his come uppins ever since he let that one kid die in like season 2. Tommy not getting any retribution for his misdeeds is like the ending of Ozark. It's not a good payoff at all.

The man who played Jeremiah was the only one actually from Birmingham in series 1 (main cast). Like most characters in the show he was based on a real person. Jeremiah was based on a man known as Jimmy Jesus, he fought with men from Birmingham in the war, missed them so much moved from Jamaica to Birmingham afterwards. Fun fact, Benjamin Zephaniah who played Jeremiah refused an OBE where in the show Tommy Shelby manipulates to get one.

Peaky Blinders is a massively overrated 9/10 show, which was close to being an 8/10 show after series 3 and 6, and... The Last Kingdom is a massively overrated 8/10 show. Now Vikings created by Michael Hirst from Bradford, where most of Peaky Blinders was filmed contrary to what most people believe, is and excellent 10/10 show which is miles better than them both.

This final episode was epic, with so many big scenes that are all the more powerful because of what's gone before. Tommy + Arthur - The shootout with the Irish - Tommy letting Charlie go with Lizzie - Tommy and Michael - Finn - Tommy + Ada - Tommy by his caravan. I thought felt the ending song (All the tired horses - Lisa O'Neill) was amazing in the context of the story and Tommy's story in particular. So so good.

I thought another reason Tommy didn't kill the Dr at the end is because he knew he didn't have to. Before he would have had to because he was the head of the Shelby Family or the leader of the Peaky Blinders, but now that everyone thinks he dead, he can do whatever he wants. Just like in the tunnel, Tommy "died" again and now he really doesn't have any limitations

He picks up the watch and literally says and i quote, "the 11th hour, Armistice, peace at last". I take it you are aware that tommy fought in ww1. Armistice of 11/11 1918 is the end of ww1 which happened at the 11th hour of that day and peace was announced. But the war never really ended for Tommy did it which we see him struggle with throughout the entire series , until this very moment when he sees the watch turn 11 and finally accepts that the war is has ended which is the entire point of that scene and wrap up of the series. Hope that helps clarifying things for you my friend.

Tommy tried to give Finn and warning when he talked to him about his clock, basically he was telling him to remember he was a Shelby and to choose your family, unfortunately that whole warning went over Finns head because he is an idiot and still chose his friendship with Billy over everyone else, so now he’s out. He’s still blood so they won’t kill him, but he basically got kicked out the house, lol. The amount of HATE I have for Mosley and Diana is crazy, they let Tommy believe he was dying because they knew he would walk away from his family if he believed that, and finish himself off, I’m so glad that it ended with him alive because too many shows tend of kill off their main character in the end, so I’m glad they didn’t here. I do wonder what Tommy will do next, I know he will be involved in WW2 but I just don’t know how. I also can’t imagine Tommy ever going back to him family so I’m sure he will return to them. Congrats to all the actors, there was genuinely not one bad performance throughout this entire series. Can’t wait to see the continuation!!!!

Some negative points of this episode: • How the hell did Tommy find out that Billy was a traitor? In the scene where everyone is gathered at the bar, it is implied that they already knew that Billy was a traitor. And this is confirmed when Duke says that he knows the "truth", and ironically only Finn doesn't know what he means by that. Tommy also purposely passes information to Billy so that he will fall into the trap. Anyway, it's disappointing to see that the series didn't even give an explanation about this. • Second point, how the hell did Tommy and Johnny Dogs know about Michael's plan? Tommy, before arriving at the meeting with Michael, ordered Johnny to remove the bomb from the car, and this is confirmed after Johnny says that he did as Tommy ordered. Again I ask, how did they know that? Who told? One more unanswered question.

ALSO - one more thing - You guys didn't miss much - Did you notice Dr Hollford was 'The Grey Man'? - with the green eyes that Ruby foresaw..? they're quite green if you have another look. You probably did in your afterthoughts. Maybe some guessed Micheal Grey.. but this show throws such great curves - I doubt anyone saw that one coming. But many of us would agree how TOP, TOP - from Writing acting all round, characters Aw man AUNT POL, ARTHUR, all of 'em - cinematography, sets, costumes, music - All of it, Way world class! Really, the good stuff. Guess you will rewiew the movie, down the line. Looking forward. Another WAIT - at least you got to watch it straight hrough and not wait 2 yearrs for the final season! Ok so, Great Story, Great to enjoy with you all.. Peace!

There’s a good chance the movie will not be about Mosley considering the doctor will run and tell him out of fear that Tommy knew the plan. (Because they both felt only tommy could kill tommy, they would probably just flee the country in fear of him). Honestly this movie is probably gonna be about Finn and Tommy won’t even let his family know he’s alive considering the carriage is burned signifying Charlie and Curly will already think he died seeing it burnt
