Fun Fact....Only 2 people in the history of the military has been released to pursue music......Elvis and Zach Bryan. He was in the Navy and blew up while he was still enlisted. His catalogue is huge and the songs are amazing. He writes all of his own songs and this last album he produced himself too. The man is amazing with music. Give him some more love and you will keep discovering great music. Some older songs you could react to would be burn burn burn, something in the orange is his most popular song, Godspeed, Snow, 68 Fastback. There's so many to choose from.

If you knew Zachs life story you could spend an hour talking about all the references in this song. Here's a super quick summary. The songs about his ex wife, Rose, who he cheated on. They started dating after his mother died, which turned him toward alcohol to cope. That's where the lyrics about rot gut whiskey and drinking, and the broken mind come from. He also had a 1988 Ford Bronco, which Roses dad also had, that they would sing and record videos in. The line about never being the man you always swore is basically saying he'll never be the man that a father wants his daughter to have. Basically the songs about how he treated her poorly and how his vices affected their relationship. A lot of his stuff is about him self reflecting, his mom, his ex wife, or another ex. Super deep stuff that hits even harder when you know a bit about him
