Thanks a lot mikey. BTW in 27:00 instead of using expression to link between the trackers and the liquify effect, you could just use "edit target" in the tracker window and choose the liquify effect control points.

Well, I think that's considerably easier, or at least less time consuming than what I did... which was processing 100+ individual frames through Faceapp! lol Plus no flickering issues. Great tutorial!

I considered that at one point, but realized it would flicker before I ever got into it. Another option is EbSynth, but it sill ends up with artifacts.

Hello! It's a fantastic plugin. The problem is when the footage camera moves or has a travelling, the mesh stays in the same place. It doesn't follow the movement. Is there something to fix it? Good tutorial!

I concede Lockdown developer Chris Vranos is very clever, and he has produced a ground-breaking plugin. That said, my experience of attempting to master this plugin has come to nothing. As an artist, rather than an engineer, I find it cumbersome & non-intuitive. Moreover, when working with clips bigger than 1080 HD, with a running time more than a few seconds, it is very slow to make a vector files, & these files are huge. Make no mistake, I don’t wish to see this useful plugin go away. I just wish Chris Vranos would rationalise his plugin; cut out half the steps, & modify Lockdown to be more accessible to end users who don’t have a background in sophisticated IT programming.

Sort of. The issue is the final will end up looking like the face was retextured. So the new face will be in the old face mold.
