When the history of the pandemic in 2020 is being told in future years, we'll probably forget that there were two big lockdowns.
The first, from March until the end of the Summer and then on from the Autumn. The first period, I heard referred to, by one elderly woman as, "the Right Covid".
Well, when the 'right Covid' was over, we had a brief opportunity to travel and I took that chance to head to Tipperary and Kerry.
The reason for going to Tipperary was because a friend had seen the actor, Rose Henderson, performing on a beach in Dublin, during the 'right Covid'.
Rose's website mentioned that she'd be doing a one-woman show in the Eco Village in Cloughjordan during the pause in Lockdown. I needed no other excuse to head to Cloughjordan - she's a great actor.
Of course, as usual, there was more to be filmed than the main story and more stories to be heard: the smiley, handsome man campaigning for Irish vineyards, the warm, beautiful woman making the most of nettles and her two inventive and welcoming sons with their waterpark, among others.
Enjoy.
All the best,
Ronan
