I have a lockdown story. I was in 7th grade period 1-2, I was in art class and we had a sub that day. The alarm went off saying “Attention, *name of school* is in lockdown. Attention *name of school is in lockdown.” The class rushed to the corner of the room as the sub locked the door. Right when that happened, not even a second goes by, and everyone starts talking. Nobody is shutting up. Nobody is silent. The sub didn’t do anything about this. The police unlocked the door and was astonished to see the class talking. About a week later the principal came into the room and said something along the lines of “During the drill, this class had the worst report.” This gives me chills, because in a different timeline, not too far off from this one, nobody in that room is alive.
