One thing in settings if you go into accessibility there's a dark pulsing setting if you turn that off you should be able to see a bit more to the point where it's a lot more better so it'll be a lot more helpful if you try to fight it again

my theory about the origin of warden is that the warden is an exiled iron golem which discovered the ancient city made by the ancient builders to keep them safe from the zombie plague but the city itself was infected by sculk a while later and the golem is also infected by it so yeah warden is just an infected and buff AF iron golem
