Detroit Tigers fell to the Philadelphia Phillies in MLB action at Comerica Park. Tigers' pitching struggled to contain the Phillies' offense, allowing 15 hits as Philadelphia secured an 8-1 victory. Casey Mize had a tough outing, surrendering four runs, three earned over 4.1 innings while striking out ten. Bryce Harper had a standout performance for the Phillies, going 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, and five RBIs. Alec Bohm also chipped in with four hits, including a home run and three RBIs. The Detroit Tigers' lone run came in the 5th inning on a single by Carson Kelly that drove in Zach McKinstry, who had previously doubled.
