They said the 2017 Vikings were the start to something bigger and we were missing a key piece. Young roster and all just needed a QB. We see how that turned out. Here’s the 5 key things. 1. Coaching. It was clear to me Kidd knew his personnel and how they matched no matter who was injured or tired. Also made adjustments as needed. Finch seems to lack this and didn’t take advantage of matchups. It felt like I was watching NBA Zimmer or NBA KOC. 2. Rotation. Mavs have 11 guys they rotate on average 12.5 minutes, Wolves have 8 guys. Yes we have the 6th man but NAW can’t hit shots and Anderson can’t shoot. Do we have that many unplayable players. 3. ANT ain’t no MJ, he can’t even compare in stats this far in his career, forget number of titles. The only young player comparable is Luka and even Luka is still a bit off from MJ. 4. Lack of “Athletic, Traditional” Bigs. KAT and Naz are athletic but aren’t traditional. Gobert is traditional but not athletic. Mavs had 2 and they were able to lob on us all day as a result. 5. More consistency and asking role players to step up more so that not so much of the work load is on ANT or KAT. This is just another typical Minnesota sports team that chokes in big moments until I’m proven otherwise.

I always wonder, who and what makes hobby pundits and professional pundits to believe, they know it all? First of all: it's not like a NFL/NBA/MLB/soccer computer game, where one has a set amount of money available just playing against one other player. All the teams do the same stuff to succeed within their limits. And yes: if one has lived a little longer life, one finds, that the number one lesson, one has to learn, is failure. Most of these young professional players have done a lot not to be on the loosing end, and most have succeeded. All of a sudden there is a player arrangement, that has come about over two years, that seem to click. The clicking is, what has to happen. PJ Washington, D. Gafford, D. Exum, Derrick Jones Jr, they all are players, that have not had the chance to live up to their potential. That is the such an upside of the Dallas team, so much so, that the other players like D. Powell, J. Green and T. Hardaway Jr. can unfortunately not live up to, for then the Dallas team would be almost flawless. So learn to embrace the losing and the taunting and smack talking, that comes with it. Burry it deep within yourself and let the feeling surface next time, you get the chance to become mentally better. That's it.
