LOCKED out again at Glenrock can't get through part 2

Interesting as the road through Glenrock is a public road with access through Private Property. I would have gone back to Nundle and taken the Crawney Pass road and turned off at Timor and then down Waverley Rd and right onto Hunter Rd and then Gundy Rd to Scone. The sign did say 4WD only so I would say it was in pretty poor shape however some explanation on the sign would have been nice.

Knowing what i now know ide open gate and probably leave it open

@@throttleridingadventures You can go through but you must always leave gates as you found them. If its shut then shut it behind you. Its private property and you cant trespass on their land so this means you cant leave the road. Ride through and , stay on thhe road and leave it as you found it. If that red clay hill is even slightly damp you will see why its 4x4 only.

Good question i do like riding with other people ..I work for myself and can go anytime for as long as I like where other people cant its hard to organise others to come so I just ride on my own but to answere your question with a friend

Nice ride and footage regardless of the gates. I did a similar trip over the Barrington tops and came out via Moonan flat and Eliston. I Camped somewhere up in the hills around Barrington tops and also at Sheeba dam. That was about 20 years ago, but there were no gates as I recall . If there were gates they were unlocked. Maybe the first road closure was due to a washout, considering the crazy ongoing rain we are currently experiencing in eastern australia. Good to see that one can still do a similar trip 20 years later. Not staying at the pub and going on to Sheeba Dam worked out well for you. Thanks for sharing. I agree with El Eleven, maybe the camera angle could be raised a tad.
