Hearing your perspective on these things (like, "Maybe being locked up saved me from something worse.") is really eye-opening. It's useful to consider whether one's bad experiences in life may have ultimately led one in the right direction. At least, it sounds better than "It could have been worse."
@lizross19105 жыл бұрын
Your tattoo is absolutely beautiful Jes! Like, stunning actually! Also, I love the way you see certain moments in time as saving you from something worse. That's such a positive way to look at what you believe is a negative situation. I'm going to keep that one close. Thank you my friend! 🧡❤🧡❤🧡❤

That whole “universe works that way” I totally believe that. I remember when my roommate (and very good and close friend) was at a stop light to go to her place of work… she all of a sudden had the worst panic attack and she just wanted to push the gas pedal and get outta there! Anyways, apparently there was a huge t bone car accident just a few minutes after she was at that intersection… instincts are real and life will give you the signs if you keep a listening eye and ear.

@anniegeiger10315 жыл бұрын
Hopefully this isn’t a repeat comment, I don’t know what happened writing the first one, KZbin re-loaded or whatever: Anyways, I also believe the universe works in crazy ways, that everything is meant to be, like, for example, 9 years ago I was called into work and then told they made a mistake and they didn’t need me and I found my male dog that day, he’s a funky colored chihuahua and I’m so grateful I had to go home so I could find him that day, he’s so perfect. Be grateful for traffic everyone! You never know why you’re stuck in it =)

Jessica I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I truly appreciate your videos and I can't get enough of what you have to say about your life and how things was. But I truly believe that your true calling would be to be a drug counselor because if I heard anything about the past you've had been threw I would have listened a long long time ago and I wouldn't have the stories that I have now. I love your work truly it's a inspiration for me to stay on the path that I've been working on everyday now I have almost 2yrs clean.

I'm not quite sure if other states do it too but yes they basically put her in a drunk tank. If they bring you in and your intoxicated beyond being able to comply with them, they will strap people to that chair and leave them(for days if need be) till they sober up. I had an aunt who sat in intake, in "the chair" in Orange county Texas correctional for 4 days. They can and will put off processing you till you're sober and compliant. Texas dgaf
