Last week everyone railed on Freeze for play call and letting Thorne make decisions, so today he takes that away and Thorne still changes play? That’s unacceptable and Freeze has every right to jump on Thorne. Thorne has proven over and over what he is, we will not see progress until that position is resolved!

@@slimmdusty8809 that’s true Payton is not a game changer and I think the reason he didn’t go get a quarterback is because he thought the reason Payton was struggling is because the receivers he had last year couldn’t separate but I think freeze is trying to build his own team of young guys last year he just pieced a team together but I think he knows now even with the talent around him he just not that guy to lift the receivers they have to lift him that’s how it was at Michigan State and that’s why KLS is getting most of the plays cuz KLS knows the game and the young receivers are still learning looking for help from the quarterback but they was brought to help him it’s crazy

About like I expected tbh, we didn't get blown out and had a chance to be really competitive, but the same weaknesses that have held us back for the last 19 games didn't disappear. Get that 25 class in here and the best Portal QB that money can buy and we'll have a much better season.

If the call is a dive left from the sideline Thorne was not in a read option situation. He changed the play when he should not have. I haven't rewatched, but if he ran it to the side we were outnumbered on, force blows up the play, and 2 unblocked defenders cleaned it up. If they had numbers like that on play side, a dive to the left might have scored. When a coach sees the potential if Thorne would just quit shooting himself in the foot over and over. QB1 is gonna catch it every game I've seen Brady catch it, I've seen Manning catch it. Sometimes, frustration comes from a place of compassion. That being said, we appear to get goofy play calling and play in the red zone and 3rd or 4th and 1. We held serve this week had a couple of clean drives, just got to keep recruiting and get to a place where there is trust that the players on the field can execute, and the coaches on the sideline can open up and put pressure any defense we face. The young guys on are gonna be ballers. With proper direction, trust should be built and lead to freedom which leads to confidence. Confident teams become winning teams. We lack that right now, but I see improvement in some areas where others seem to digress at times. I'm tired of the coaching roulette though. I see this as a rebuilding, I firmly believe this season is the floor and we can't even see the ceiling but it's way up there. Also, I think when you rebuild and make this your ground up program you don't get complacent with 6-6 and 7-5 seasons.

Hey !!!!!! Why nobody talking about 73!!!!! I know who's fault this loss is 73!! Several plays when where still in this ball game on 3rd down especially he just took the play off. One play dude literally just started outside and went inside , no spin move , no hands slapped no nothing just walked right by 73. Wth????? I don't understand why he wasn't taking out the game, is our offensive line really that bad?? I just keep going back to first week leading up to the game he wanted to shuffle the o line, if you know anything about football that's a very bad sign. We’re sitting at 2-4 because Freeze thought we could win games with Payton Thorne. It’s an insult to remain with Payton as the starter and pull Hank out the game after only two quarters because he threw an interception. There were two key plays that UGA turned into points. 1) near the end of the 2nd qtr, near our end zone on 2nd down we throw a pass that's incomplete and stops the clock and we give UGA about a minute to score and they do. We should have run the ball and clock so there wasn't a lot of time to score. 2) on the 4th and 1 we should have punted and made UGA drive the field. They had a short field and took advantage of that with a TD and basically won the game on that score. We have to give our defense more field to work with.

I’m not so much infuriated about the loss though it’s another year of taking it from UGA. I’m more infuriated when I look to vandy and see they got a QB from the portal that elevates everyone around him to be better and got an upset. While Auburn made no effort to go after him and walked away from QBs in the portal cause we thought we were too good for it. It all flows from the top, the HEAD coach. If Thorne's decision making is an issue, take your best 20 (or 10 or whatever) plays and practice them against all possible looks. Practice over and over and over so that Thorne CAN'T make the wrong decision. Don't leave it to chance. If he gets in game and goes off script, then it's over.

I am pretty sick of the critical play calling on the goal line and the fourth down momentum shifting play we saw last night. The kids played well enough to win but that fourth down call was nonsense. Give it to a HOT Hunter and live with it. Run a good solid play without any kind of options or reads. All the options and reads are causing confusion, do not do it on the goal line or in a critical fourth. Lean on the run game, it is an age old formula when you have the best RB in the league...
