I've been saying the way it should happen, which is the way most people thought it WAS going to happen, is do it just like the 4-team playoff, but with 12 teams. Rank them, after the conference championship games, & put the top 12 teams in. Simple. Easy to understand. If the conferences whose teams will almost always be left out, because their teams are never ranked in the top 12, get upset, oh well. We don't need them.

Luke is right. I hate when people say most deserving. That is total BS. If you are the best, you are the most deserving. Some team that has a great record against a bunch of high school quality teams is NOT MORE DESERVING THAN A TEAM WITH TWO OR THREE LOSSES against a high strength of schedule. Most deserving is a term that should never be uttered in a football conversation. It matters who you played and who you beat.

I remember when teams played a 10 game schedule, with 11 if bowl bound. Bama would be on tv just twice per year, both national telecasts (there were no regional telecasts), one regular season game, and a major bowl game.

I'm reminded of the NHL when after expansion they had 17 teams and let 16 teams into the playoffs. One coach said "it is kind of stupid to play 82 regular season games to eliminate New Jersey". I can't wait for the 24 team CFP.

Horton is a huge get he reminds me of kyron lacy from lsu. He runs great routes makes contested catches. Conception to me was just a regular WR. Cole Adams to me was actually better than conception better ball skills. RTR

Deboer learning season is in the books. Now that hes learned, the differences between 5 stars and 3 stars and egos. Im excited to see what he does next season. They need to do away with the whole automatic bid for all conference champions, not all conferences are equal, not even close. The top 12 BEST TEAMS need to be in the CFP period. Instead of using a committee they need to use Vegas odds as the deciding factor.

You are forgetting the fact no single person has the power to change anything and the commissioners of each conference is only agreeing to what's good for his champion and could care less about the rest. That's why it's so messed up to begin with cause some conference commissioner wouldn't agree to the 12 team playoff unless their champion got an automatic bid.

When Ohio State lost to Michigan they didn’t use their WRs instead focusing on running between tackle all game. That was Ryan Day’s worst game of his career. Michigan DT Mason Graham who may be a Top 5-10?Draft finished with a PFF Grade of 89. Michigan’s other possible 1st round Junior DT 6-3 340 4.8 had a PFF grade of 82. That was the Game. The only time Ohio State gave up the run and threw at a fast pace, Ohio State matched down the field for a TD before halftime. Michigan’s offense was horrible the whole game. Their TD came from an interception putting the ball at 1 yard line. Assuming Kaleb DeBoer watched the game he won’t target Mason Graham. In fact, Mason Graham isn’t playing. Nor is Top 10 CB Will Johnson. Nor is TE Colston another high pick. Michigan could get shut out by Alabama in my opinion. Barring turnovers, no way Michigan can score more than 17 against Alabama. Meanwhile, if Milrose is ON, Alabama can score a lot on Anybody. I predict Milroe and Ryan Williams have their moments, and so will a RB for Alabama, so I say Alabama 34-13.
