What little I’ve seen of Emory Williams I’ve liked! As a freshman he payed his body on the line, the kid has heart! He only played in one game this season but completed 11 of 12 passes! If Emory walks we will all be saying we had this guy! What were we thinking! Just my opinion!

Mario is trying to bring Miami back..but unfortunately I don't see it happening..We had a great college QB, pretty soft schedule an we.lost 2 games, an was in position to potentially lose at least 2 more that we found a way to win..Hopefully I'm wrong but I don't see us having the same success next season

I have a problem with getting another QB like Ward because if they lose 1 or 2 games during the season, it will be derailed just like this season. I never cozy up to Ward for the very same reason that's happening now. We have Emory Williams plus we had jackory that should have been developed. In my opinion that's what Cristobal should have done. We get these 1 year super QB like Ward, then they leave and we're right back to square one and I would imagine this has to be stressful not only for the coaching staff but for the players as well. I think we should give Emory the starting job and go after a freshman or sophomore QB that would fit the teams system. Stop getting CAM ward like QB's unless it's for at least 2 years. No more 1 year QB please. It's not good for team chemistry.

I agree. We have stolen snaps away from the QBs we have on the roster by brining Ward here. Our team would look better next season if Emory or Puffburger had gotten valuable experience this season. This is also proof that we can't develop a QB, so good luck landing a big QB recruit.

Harris takes bad angles that’s a problem. OJ and Damari look like pros but OJ is young and Damari was hurt. We didn’t have a safety so Meesh Powell played safety but he’s better suited at Nickel.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if a player doesn't want to be here.. then we don't want them here. You're either with us or you're against us. With regards to the portal, I'm not a huge fan of it, but if we have a need and one of our young guys needs to have a little more seasoning, then so be it.. get an experienced player for a minute. Last year we had a glaring need..a QB1 with experience and one that could run the offense that the OC uses, and that was definitely NOT Tyler Van Interception. We also needed experience up front that we could rotate in and out. This year has been proven, we need a defense.. starting with a capable and effective defensive coordinator... which we currently do not have. Also, because we're not going to have a flashy and high scoring offense, defense and stopping the other team is going to be at a premium.

The Defense has been horrible all year. My biggest issue Guidry coaches the Safeties and he brought in his CB coach from Marshall. So, how the hell is the backend so bad? Why is there communication so bad? The secondary should be the one group thag knows whats going on. Simply inexcusable. The Defense is so bad, and the DC comes to the post interview smiling??? That tells me everything I need to know.

NIL era has created scenarios where kids should be looking for early playing time as a must. Especially, if you’re a top recruit going to a top school with depth. You sit behind a stud for a year or two… then your school goes after a kid with experience at a lesser school. BeCause OSU young & Michigan just got #1 player class of 2025 to QB from LSU to Michigan in his home state. U of M is in the grease. Nix was offered lot of $ to also stay with Miami & its roomers he don’t believe in Miami being able to develop him at LB & get him to NFL over Oregon. Personally Oregon sitting at #1 plays a part but if I’m looking at the whole picture of life I believe academics & location compared to non religious beliefs in Portland being one of the biggest states next to Utah. gloomy cloudy rain 6 months out the year. I personally don’t see Oregon taking over Michigan OHIO St. & Penn State. They going to have serious problem in Big Ten & players in the Big Ten bulk up for the type of ball they play. You look at Alabama and South Carolina and both of them have a bad blowout loss. I think it will be hard to look past that. Our two losses were one possession games to good teams on the road. At the end of the day, if we miss the playoffs it’s because we didn’t take care of business and left the decision to weighing schedules.

Going the portal route for a QB worked this season but we can’t make it a constant thing. Good High School QBs will not go to a school that they have little chance of playing. That doesn’t help their NFL future. You will get 3rd tier QBs.

We need to bring in proven QB the problem the past was QB PLAY was mediocre at best after Dorsey the best QBs have been ward, king and kaaya and as we see our best QBs have transfers and I'm not saying we should stop recruiting QBs but evaluation should change unless the QB is a generational talent than take him if he commits but stop with 3 * QBs because we wasted 20 years with that process Jeff brohm gets a veteran QB every year. And his offense is always good we don't have time for developmental QBs we'd end up 7-5 the CFB landscape is too competitive if we wanna return to prennial 10 win team it starts with QB PLAY period.
