BREAKING: Miami Beats Auburn For Four Star Defensive End Herbert Scroggins III | New Fong Bomb?

The Miami Hurricanes have just landed a verbal commitment from four star defensive end Herbert Scroggins. The Benedictine Military School (Savannah, GA) standout was widely considered an Auburn lean before Miami hosted him for an official visit last weekend. Scroggins was blown away by his visit and believes in the plan that defensive line coach Jason Taylor and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry have for him. Scroggins made his pledge to Miami official on Friday morning.

The Hurricanes are not done with a busy recruiting week. Miami has been heavily linked to defensive tackle Derry Norris, who will be announcing on Friday night. The Hurricanes have just received an RPM Prediction to land four star linebacker Gavin Nix. Donno also discusses momentum for five star defensive lineman Iose Epenesa.

@@jeffwood7642funny you say that. That’s exactly why Miami is trying to stockpile as much talent as they can. Our 2-3 deep have to be as good as the starters. Not saying that new players are instantly going to have the same impact as starters, but you don’t want a drastic drop off in talent and on field ability either. One man goes down, you have to put yourself in the position to be the next man up without a noticeable drop in performance. Mario’s doing it right.
