Dennis smith is so important to Miami football he has the connections to inner city kids that Miami missed out on previously. We have to trust our local talent. Look how swfl football dominated and swept the state championship games. We let Bryan Louis go to the gators. He wanted to be a cane cause he looks up to fletcher major recruiting miss when you look at it now we missed out on lot of targets down the stretch so we had the scholarships you can never have enough running back depth. If I was Miami I would go get CJ Donaldson especially if Martinez leaves

D'nofrio was not the problem. Golden demanded what defense was going to be used. That passive defense that he ran was not D'nofrio's idea. Golden is no longer running that defense at Notre Dame. The head coach sometimes demands what defense the D Coordinator to runs. The blame goes to Golden.

I’m glad that Mario finally addressed the defensive line and backfield issues. People are posting about are DC but they fail to understand that you can only play with the experience players and talent that you have to put on the field and are defensive players are young and learning I keep saying this. We still need more bigger and aggressive players on the defensive and offensive line and a younger bigger linebacker would be nice to have for the future to start learning and playing to gain experience. I would also like for UM to look for height and size at the wide receiver position. We will be fine

We had that Melendez LB who was committed to us for a while. He was big and physical we let him go. I think we will be fine but this season Mario will have to be methodical about the roster.

All is true what you posted but to a degree!!! Guidry have been exposed since last year against Louisville. His stubbornness to adjust have gone several times last year and way to long this year. You as a coach should know how adjust with what you have and play to the strength of what you have. No excuse

If you take Cam Ward out of the equation for his exceptional performance with the offense. Where would you feel UM would be ranked. Because the offense just looks better than the defense doesn’t mean that are players are still not young we where just fortunate enough to have a few portal transfer players mixed in with are senior players in key positions that made the offense look better than the defense. But next season will show exactly where UM team is at we should be balanced with a growing offense and defense coming together as one team.
