It’s been great watching D.Overshown starting to become a superstar, he looks awesome. I wince watching him at times just due to his knee injury at that horrible field in Seattle but he absolutely flies to the ball. To a way lesser extent, it’s been nice watching K.Turpin, L.Schoonmaker, Mazi and guys like B.Hoffman contribute and show that there could still be a good future for themselves. Obviously, this season hasn’t went like we wanted but there’s been some bright spots.

Talking about people discussing M.Parsons, whether he’s elite or not…..it’s like so many other Cowboys topics, if he played virtually anywhere else, there wouldn’t be any negative talk about him…..he’s always been a top 5 overall defensive player and still is, PERIOD. They should and will pay him and build around him, Overshown and Bland on defense, build around those young players and add in Diggs, who’s still got a few years left on his contract and this defense will be tough for several more years.

All I have to bring up as evidence are the 8-8 seasons under Garrett... not tanking just prolongs the pain. This team is not good (unless you want to brag about beating the worst teams in the division), we lack talent, and lots of it. Keep winning and they'll play themselves out of the top 10-15. And the drop off outside the top 10 picks this season is pretty steep, most QB needy teams may even skip past them because there are no stand outs which just means less chances of getting talent Dallas needs.

CeeDee got popped HARD in the shoulder. For anyone who hasn't had an AC shoulder injury, that shyte is way painful and limits the range of movement a lot. He's been grabbing at that shoulder ever since it got injured. That hit had to feel like pouring ice cold water into a cavity.

Cooper was awful. I just don’t understand why Dallas is still hanging on to hope. Play Trey Lance, get him as many reps as possible and try to get a draft pick back, especially since they just gave the 4th round pick away for Mingo. There’s no chance to win a championship with these quarterbacks. Get a high draft pick. Trade Dak (if he agrees) and Lance, draft a QB, D-linemen, RB and WR, and go from there.

If our offense could just do a little more in the passing game, they might be able to win 3-4 more games because the defense is actually coming along now, they just get tired after the offense doesn’t do much in the first half, but I don’t see the passing game getting a whole lot better because Rush just isn’t very good and between that and how beat up this team is, I predict maybe 1 or 2 more wins, but we’ll see. I am glad they are fighting and it’s been really fun watching D.Overshown starting to become a superstar, build around Micah, Overshown and Bland and this defense could be awesome again as soon as next season.
