The current Rams receivers are more than adequate: Kupp, Nacua (what a stud!!), Robinson and Atwell. No need to bring in OBJ. Plus, the Rams get Higbee back next game - but it remains to be seen how effective he will be after siting out all season with an injury. I love the young defense: Verse and Fiske were great draft picks - another masterful draft by Les Sneed. Add in Kobe Turner and Byron Young and you have the ingredients for a solid defense for a few more seasons (injuries are obviously a big bugaboo and can’t be predicted but football is a violent game and injuries are just part of what all teams have to deal with). There was obviously no way the Rams D was not going to feel the effect of Aaron Donald’s retirement (greatest defensive player in the history of the NFL IMO) but I think the Rams did as good a job as possible with the players they drafted.

Travis I understand that the rams are flawed but that’s all you focus on is there flaws. You never focus on there strengths and a bad team doesn’t start the season 1-4 and go 7-2 down the stretch to put themselves in position to win there division. That’s impressive no matter how you look at it. The rams have a very young roster especially on the defensive side of the ball. They had some growing pains and there offense was very injured to start the season. I would say that they’re more resilient then flawed

I think if the rams can get one more year out of havenstein, kupp, stafford, higbee, some of these old veterans they can win or make the Super Bowl. By that I mean prime years. They need to go into this free agency and make some big signings like the left tackle from the broncos I believe, defensive players and attack the draft. When I look at the season, I evaluate the Rams' strength based on a week after the O-line finally came back. Shula's defense is still inconsistent and wasn't affected by the injuries of the O-line so that's why we belong in the playoffs but it is all about our defense. No on OBJ unless he can play corner.

While it's true that OBJ has expressed regret for leaving the Rams and has publicly stated that he credits McVay in particular for helping him love football again, he's picked a bad time to leave his current team. OBJ is talented by his loyalty and mental state are in constant flux. When the Rams picked him last time, they were desperate, Woods had recently gone down and OBJ was a perfect fit for the epic run the rams went on but now, I don't see the 'bang for the buck' being there. Whose gonna sit to make room for OBJ? We're not talking about PRIME OBJ, we're talking about 'mostly washed' OBJ, we're talking about 'I guit my team' OBJ. Aside from Travis doubling down on his obviously false Tutu Atwell narrative, I appreciate that he keeps it real. Sure the Rams could sneak into the playoffs and get hot. But they could just as easily fizzle out and go home. As for OBJ, I like the idea if the price is right. And the game on Thursday was a major weather issue both teams struggled in that bad weather conditions I know you 2 didn't play so you have no idea how hard it is to play in rainy slippery cold weather.
