You guys contradict yourselves so much when it comes to Sengun. Does he hold the ball longer and bait the double team like Ime wants him to do, or go quicker like he did earlier in the year. Last video you said there are no coaching problems, but Ime wants the Rockets to shoot 40 3's a game when they are one of, the worst shooting teams in league. Y'all are way to easy on Udoka. Yes I think Alpi has regressed recently, but I put at least a bit of the reason for that on Udoka going away from what worked so well early in the season.

As a Houston fan, I have watched every second of every game of the last 4 years live and will analyze the current situation of the team. I must say that Alpi is a talented player and he has time to improve his game. Early in the season, the Rockets offense was driven by Alpi. However, in the last 2 months, Udoka realized that Alpi was slow and lagging behind the team's energy. Udoka is not wrong about this. In this team, Udoka wants and is obsessed with a game strategy that includes Indiana-style fast attack, fast transition games, and constantly high-tempo game sequences. If you pay attention, when the ball reaches Alpi, the game suddenly slows down and Udoka does not want this. Udoka to Alpi from the side; There are conversations like 'always be active' and 'make quick decisions when the ball is in rival court'. Udoka wants this, but when the ball reaches the alpi, none of the Rockets players usually cut inside, instead Brooks, Jalen, Green and Fred wait for assists at the 3-point line. Meanwhile, rival players are attacking Alpi with double or triple pressure. When Alpi sends the ball to one of his idle friends, the players cannot score 3 points even though the path is open. Check out Houston stats. They are ranked 26th in the NBA in 3-point rankings. Players like Jalen, Jabari, Cam love the street style basketball that Allen Iverson, Kyrie etc.. loves so much, and these players' priorities are not the team or victory, they just want to shine and become famous in the NBA. In addition, there has never been a worse duo in NBA history than Alpi and Jalen. Even though they have been playing together for about 2 years, they do not understand each other and have different understandings of basketball. Udoka has to choose. He will either continue with JG or Alpi. I think Udoka has been intending to build a team around Green for the last 2 months and has made it clear. They can trade Alpi and maybe get a veteran. By the way, the most optimal team for Alpi is Houston. It wouldn't be a good idea to trade for alpi because no team would start him as a starter because he doesn't (prefer to) shoot 3s and he's a sluggish player. But he could be an excellent bench player on other teams. Finally, I will say this. Not every player needs to shoot 3-pointers with 35%-40%. The most talented, most valuable and most talked about player Houston has had in recent years is not JG or Jabari, it is Alpi. If you want to get the best out of Alpi, you should make your game structure like Denver. If you are not going to do this, please do not ruin Alpi's future by keeping him in this team, Coach Udoka..

If Sengun is going to be HIM, he's gotta continue to add to his game. I know some Rockets fans recall that Harden for a solid 5 years kept adding things to his game over summers. He'd experience what defenses did to him, then he'd go in the lab and figure out a counter. Sengun is a savant-level offensive player, he most definitely has the ability to get a consistent 3-ball, add a floater, whatever he needs to become unstoppable.

U guys forgot to say one thing about jalen green is that dude doesn't know how to play half court basketball, and year 3 is dead, it's gonna be year 4 next year when he is going to learn this? He came from gleague that was big mistake for him he had to go to the college and had to see and play college basketball, that was jalen's mistake and first 2 years played under Silas 's basketball which is freestyle basketball or gleague basketball whatever u called Eric Gordon was right there was no improvement, Alpi was lucky because he came from europe and in the europe they thought how to play basketball from earlier age, So best thing is find a good trade for jalen green and move on and i dont know what to do about fred and Dillion its just too much over paid

People think i be bashing ALP, thats not True... Im simply saying, Its very difficult to acquire decent shooters today in a shooters league where that skill set you will over pay for... People have to ask themselves, is Sengun good enough for me to trade 2 core players for and over pay a team to acquire a Duncan Robinson, a Klay Thompson TYPE of player. And the anser is no he is not. He is not Giannis, he is not AD, and i only mentioned those guys because they are the 2 bigs that take average 15 plus shots a game and attempt 1 three a game.. The Team will be better if you trade Sengun and a pick for a Myles Turner type of player and a shooter vs trying to trade Jalen and another core peice plus a draft pick for a shooter

Last comment*** This isnt a matter of "Sengun is the best player on the team" its a NBA ECONOMICS issue .. So what if he is the best player on the team... is he GENERATIONAL? I look around the league and see the MODERN DAY bigs and they shoot 3's.. I see the young teams bigs like Chet and Victor and thats where the league is going...bigs who can shoot the 3/ switch 1-5 and lock protect the paint... Hubs like Sengun is dime a dozen just not at the center spot... But in 2024 the NBA is a positionless league...i can get a hub player for cheaper than i can get a SHOOTER.. My example, AMEN is more valuable than SENGUN in a positionless league... Amen can provide everything ALP does on offense plus is a better defender and can switch 1-5 except on a FEW bigs and i mean just 3. Alp is a good player but not generational enough for me to taylor my rostor around him and the COST for me to have to do that will be ridiculous

Ok, let's ignore what I think and what you think about Alpi. However, just the fact that every other team and their coaches on the NBA takes measures against Sengun, objectively praises him and double/triple team to defend him shows enough what a generational gem Alpi is.
