JG is not turning the corner, he is just getting better and more mature as he plays more, stop being harsh on this kid only 22 years old, consistency comes with age and maturity, if Senguin has a bad game why no one ever mentioned it, he struggled all the time, other players on the team too, this kid is not even at his prime yet but still team leading scorer.

Gatlin must owe Sengun money or be engaged to his sister. he can do no wrong. And Sengun listening to his nonsense has thought he was someone he was not. teams are not falling for his fakes this season. he used to catch them off guard but now they know all they have to do is wait until he comes out of his trick bag and he will still be releasing his shot below the rim. Calling him the Wizard like he has earned respect like that. You see this year he is actually hurting the team most games.

No point of trading for stars. They mess up the chemistry built, they deprive all your assets, and they cost too much. People forget the Westbrook trade, the Paul trade. That is why we were in purgatory for 3+ teams. Good team add players, develop and add what’s needed to succeed

My main concern with this team was related to paying everyone, but if the contracts break down the way Jackson mapped it out, then it may be feasible to keep everyone. If you can't sign everyone, that's when you need to make a trade to try to upgrade talent. As of now however, this team seems to grow and gel their games to each other more and more with each passing game. You just have to let this thing grow and become what it will become, because the synergy developing is off the charts!

Rockets are really playing well this season but what's compounding Rockets' success is the underperformance of veteran/playoff teams (which is of course a good thing). But I do agree Jackson that the caveat of that is if and that's a big if those teams peak in the playoff. Regardless, 1st round or 2nd round exit, I'll still consider this a successful season. Then get our star in the off season. Just hoping that semifinals in season tournament experience gave them that juice to really make some noise in the playoffs 🚀

Rox ceiling this year is the WCF, unless OKC suffers some serious injuries during the season. The only 3 players I'd trade for are Cam Johnson, Devin Booker & D Fox, but Booker/Fox are looking like off-season only moves & what I'd be willing to give up for Johnson decreases every day. If Durant asked for a trade though, idk
@AreolaGrande948 сағат бұрын
no thanks on KD. it doesn't match the timeline of this team. we don't need a guy in his mid 30's that will only play a few more years, maybe 1-2 at peak level, and plays 50-60% of games.
@frobeusns64048 сағат бұрын
@@AreolaGrande94That would be the point of Durant. A 1/2 year that you bring in to beat teams like OKC, Boston or Cleveland. Zero chance of signing him for longer
@AreolaGrande948 сағат бұрын
@ no thanks. no guarantee that you're better than those teams with him, and after he's gone you take a huge step back again in 1-2 years. OKC is set up to be good for a decade+ you have to compete long term. more bites at the apple and keep improving the team like you have instead of taking a swing at something that isn't likely to work right now.

Let’s talk about Jalen moving to pg after a ton of ball handling drills in the offseason. Dillon at the 2, Amen - 3, Bari and Sengun
@williamdavis95629 сағат бұрын
If you were to do that obviously amen would be at the 2 and brooks at the 3. Not saying Jalen can’t play the 1 but he will have to prove it. I’m not sure if his ball security issues will put him under undo pressure
@DaContentGod7 сағат бұрын
Jalen, amen, brooks, bari, sengun. The Wizard and Twin can help with ball handling and setting up offemse. More tunrovers but higher scoring more variance
@CedricGates-k8z7 сағат бұрын
@@williamdavis9562 Jalen can be a modern 1 where the score more than assist. I think Dillon at sg because he can shoot and get a bucket. Amen doesn’t really have an offensive bag he is about unreal athleticism for dunks, putbacks, and the occasional shot when he’s wide open
@apdadonb.f.m.priorities.81169 сағат бұрын
I still say if we do trade we should just get more shooting off the bench……if you’ve been paying attention I said I think Corey Kispert makes sense for this team. He’s an effort player who will willingly play hard and can shoot better than most of the players on the Rockets. Either way he just provides more depth and I’m sure we can get him for cheap this point. We can move a Jae’Sean Tate and a couple 2nd round picks and get him (I believe) but it’s just a thought. Anyway if we don’t make any moves I’m cool with it because it seems the chemistry of this team is getting much stronger, everyone is starting to believe that they are much more capable of playing at a higher level!!! Let’s go Rockets!! 🚀🚀⬆️⬆️
@Fetemart6 сағат бұрын
I agree with you about the Chemistry. Honestly I had considered Kispert as well, but even Tate is pretty valuable. I mean he comes off the bench plays defense, never complains, and contributes. Every contending team needs players like that over the long haul of an 82-game season.
