I paid just $350 for this locker, and it's going to be a MONEY MAKER! Not sure I should show how much profit can come out of a locker like this, because it'll probably make this type of locker harder to get in the future.

These lamps are called Davy lamps and were used in most mines in the uk. I have my dads, he worked down the pit for 48 years, I was very proud of him.

That cassett brought back so many memories. My mother kept an audio tape from my dad singing. It was only like three seconds of him but she would listen to it whenever she was missing him. He was killed when a simi jacknifed and hit his car when I was 13. Also I have cassetts of my son when he was about 4 and my husband was deployed overseas and we would send him tapes. My son was murdered 12 years ago when he was 33. The tapes mean a lot.

The first aid kit was in an old travel suitcase. My Grandma had one similar in the 60's and 70's. I found the lyrics of the 'Love Song' so nice. Some Grandparents wrote a song for their grandkids and even recorded it! How special to have something like that to keep their voices (or voice) after they're gone. Interesting finds but I know not too valuable for you.

Yes you should check everything. Sometimes I picked the side of the road when there is an eviction and came across some boxes attracted me because there were Christmas items I could see I saw a bag that had clothing that looks like it had just come out of the drawers of a chest so I thought well I can at least donate them instead of them going into the landfill. When I took them home and went through the bag there were three little small jewelry boxes in there and one of them had an 18 karat gold medallion necklace in it the chain was not real but The Medallion was I got $180 for it. The other box had a sterling silver bracelet with mother-of-pearl inlay the third box was a Lalique Stone medallion

Had to check this out due to curiosity How many places in America are named after British places? One will be astonished to know that around 650 American cities share the same name as those found in England and Europe. There are at least 23 places called Paris, at least 35 named Lebanon, and at least 11 known as Dublin. How this came about was that when English immigrants moved ...

I moved from Phoenix to Red Rock, Arizona and man o man, the wind here is crazy. Even though there are mountains in every compass direction, there is nothing but flat flat land between them. The wind has blown off concrete roof shingles, broken many pots of flowers, and my BBQ grill took flight during one storm. Wow.

:-) I agree! When he said "Love song" I expected something for adults and yet when I paused and read the lyrics, I realized that it was most likely a song for grandchildren. If you read them, it's very much about children's favorite things. Such a sweet memory for someone if they get the lyrics back or the tape and lyrics.

This is info on the miners lamps The Englishman Sir Humphry Davy was already a scientist and inventor of national renown when he seized upon the idea of a safety lamp in 1815. Davy had performed numerous scientific experiments on all natures of gasses, and this experience proved useful in battling the flammable firedamp found in gaseous mines.

You said that you are not impressed by the artwork that are numbered...some might prove to be very expensive...the one numbered "158"...only 158 prints were made, making the one that you have valuable. You might want to look up those artists that you are blowing off...you sell it at auction for a quick $10 and find out later that it was worth thousands.
