At 28:52. The Shadow started off as a radio program. Before my time but the intro was,"Who knows what lurks in the hearts & minds of men...The Shadow knows!" Then some spooky music, probably on a theramin. Rare in great condition. Appeals to comic collectors and radio show aficionados.

That burnt cross brought back memories. When I was in the Brownies we had an art project, making a cross from burnt wooden matchsticks. I remember my dad out in the garage striking and blowing out 500 matchsticks! That's real dad love there! LOL. Great memories. Thanks for your videos, even the crusty dirty ones. Every one of then is interesting in their own way. God bless

Oh that cross!! Jack, what memories that brought back to me. I was in 1st grade when my Uncle Gerry came to visit. He painted a picture of me, but he also created a cross just like that, or at least extremely similar to that for my mom, out of burnt matchsticks. The burnt ends gave it a really neat look, and definitely made it safer. My uncle put the cross he made into a glass case for Mom, and it hung on the wall for quite a few years. I don't know whatever happened to it, though. What a neat memory to have!!

I remember sitting outside on the back patio, watching him glue matchsticks together. I was in awe of how artistic he was. I never imagined being able to put something together like that back then. Of course I only watched for a little while before I ran off to play. He mounted it in that glass case with purple velvet behind it. I thought it was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen.

Those mini figures at 26:30 are part of the European Kinder Surprise collection from '97. If you lay them on their side, you can see some type of a vehicle, like a plane, or a car, but if you look them from a different angle, you can actually see people (or totems, whatever to call them) instead of vehicles. Guess that's why they were kept with the puzzles. Unfortunately, that six piece collection is worth like 9-10 bucks, in Europe at least.

T/C 7:43 OH MY GOSH!!! I can't believe it!!! Jack, I have the very same Federico Fellini graphic novel, the pink cover featuring Marcello Mastroianni, 'Trip to Tulum'. It was a script idea of Fellini's that was never developed into a screenplay. Your copy is sitting just behind the 'Doctor Who Voyager' book with Dracula on the front. My copy was given to me in the 1990s by someone who was an avid reader/collector of comics and rare books. I'm pleased to say I've just checked out the comparable prices for this book and they are pretty tasty! Excellent find - definitely for Ebay.

Hello from the french nuts in Chiang Mai Thailand ! it's really interesting for me to see you digging through those boxes and getting excited about things that don't make much sense to me (comics, playing cards, etc...). Like what, the cultural difference does exist! But I still have a lot of fun and as soon as I see the notification of a new video I watch it immediately! Of course, I'm waiting for the resumption of the videos of the train locker season 2 because there, being European (In addition my father had built a very large electric train when I was a child) it corresponds more to my culture! Hope to watch you soon on LOCKER NUTS !

If the cards from the Magic packs are in the locker, there could definitely be value. The first four expansions of Magic are Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, and The Dark, and all four of them have a lot of value. And I definitely saw at least The Dark packs in there. The Revised set (the one with the box) also has some valuable cards, but it's a bit more hit and miss. It definitely looks to me like he collected Magic in an era where the cards would now be very expensive.
@marklevensalor50782 жыл бұрын
I definitely spotted a Legends wrapper in that mix, and a full box of revised is guaranteed money if the cards are in there and intact. And don't discount the discontinued games either! Jyhad, VTES, Star Wars CCG, Battletech....all games that still have some following and they pay decent money for the right stuff. Not as expensive as Magic, but you can find buyers.
