The ones I made were from cypress wood. The cypress makes the unusual shapes they grow in swamps. The shape of the clock is the shape of the tree it has live edges all the way around.

The Disney Beanies brought back a lot of memories. I worked for the Disney Store during the height of the beanie craze and there would be people lined up at our store as early as 5 or 6 am in order to get them. Their value is in line with Ty beanie babies right now. Lot ‘em up!

I am probably too late, but please in the future consider those vintage dish towels and linens for your auction. There are folks in other areas of the country who consider them collectible, especially if you have the entire “week” of the dish towels. Also the all cotton ones are more absorbent than those poly blends that are so prevalent now. Fun locker!

I used to work for a company and the elderly man that started it like 40 years earlier still came in everyday and sat in his big corner office all day drinking bloody Mary's. It was kind of sad really but his office was like another world to me. Had a private bedroom and bathroom bc the man worked 24/7 for decades...and a bar. He had two massive standing globes in two corners of the office. Never could figure out why he had two globes....until I walked in one day to have him sign checks and he had both open stocking them up...they were bars. Lol

The wooden piece you thought wasn't old and changed your mind is a washstand. A bowl and pitcher go on top and towels underneath. Probably early 20th century, by the looks. I think the clocks would be >$100 each. Yes, that other piece is a planter. Someone just stuck a Chiquita banana sticker on the guitar. Plush can do well on EBay. "Danube" is pronounced DAN'-youb. Some of the linens that were in the box with the new lid cover are from the 40s-50s. The days of the week linens in the other box are from probably the 50s. Animal shelters welcome terry towels/washcloths and blankets/quilts. The avocado-colored sewing basket is a classic. I had one in turquoise that I got in the 60s. There is great money in the NWT Disney plush!! Awesome unit!!
