LOCKLAN by Estetica / RH14/88-RT8 VS 12FS12 comparison

Today I am looking at Locklan from Estetica Designs (High Society Collection) in colour
RH14/88-RT8 - Dark blonde with the lightest blonde highlight and a golden brown root.
If you are not familiar with this colour I am comparing it with Jon Renau Malibu Blonde 12FS12 to help you visualise it better.
I purchased this wig brand new from a wig sister.
This wig is absolutely gorgeous! It's a long piece reaching to 23" long at the back, about 18-19" at the front, and face-framing bangs of 10". Perfect!
This is a standard synthetic wig (not heat-friendly) and just like most Estetica wigs, it's a little coarser to the touch. I explain the benefits of this in my video.

My head measurements are:
Circumference - 21.5" (Average)
Front to back - 12" (Petite)
Ear to ear - 12" (Petite)
Neck - 4"
Face - 9"

I think this cap is better for people who have their own hair, than for than for those with alopecia. People who liked it should check the other video with styling tips. Being able to have an up-do without anyone noticing it's a wig, is nirvana for anyone with alopecia.

Yes, I think you’re right. That open nape just wouldn’t work without pinning it down with a bobby pin. I never tried it without a wig grip, but I can’t imagine it would stay in place without it. Xx

I remember when Locklan came out and although she's a couple of inches too long for me, I loved it immediately. Cue to me sounding like a broken record as always : Estetica needs to start making fully hand tied wigs, seriously. 😑 xx

Definitely I would love to see a hand tied wigs! And Locklan would be a bomb in a fully hand tied cap! Imagine that?! She's long for sure, but with those shorter layers at the front I think it gives it this "appropriate" look for a mature lady like me lol

Hello my lovely! Thank you, glad you liked it! This is a great wig! Love it so much, especially the fibers! Now, being a super geek, haha I have been compiling a list of wig features and specs, so I can find similar styles with ease :) Looking at my DATABASE haha I would suggest the following: 1. Alessandra by Jon Renau - high-quality fibers too on that style 2. Blaze by Tressallure - a little bit more layered 3. Blair by Rene of Paris - albeit with a center part Those are all Open Wefted, so at similar price point...unless you want to splash out and treat yourself to Morgan by Henry Margu or Aria by Jon Renau (that one tangles a little more) Hope this helps darling xx
