Got my lock n Lube grease gun coupler in the mail today. Greased my bush hog and finishing mower a few minutes ago, and it only took a few minutes. Very simple, I should have bought one of these couplers years ago! Love it!

Yes it did work. Thank you. I was ready to get my money back. I noticed sometimes it worked. Probably from pushing it I probably got lucky a few times that it locked. All good now!

What is the best 90 degree head you have used? I have some tight spaces I cannot reach straight into and need something with less than half inch profile height? I tried a 90 zerk fitting and to be tight it was turned backwards.

LockNLube now sells grease guns using 400g screw type cartridges (Same as Lube Shuttle). Except that their grease guns comes with the LockNLube coupler, hose swivel, and 20" quality hose. They also sell what they refer to as "easy-prime" grease guns, a design that does away with the follower plate and rod, replacing them with a reusable plastic cap.

I have the DeWalt 20v. It is the beez neez. Paired with a good coupler and it’s about as good as it gets.

I have the Lincoln and the Lube Shuttle. Both are pretty good but the Lube Shuttle has a unique cartridge that is nice.

If you use a locking coupler of any kind you should also pick up a right angle attachment. Theres always gonna be a place you won't be able to fit that head. They work great with locking couplers and I find they even grease better than a standard coupling. Must be because you can place your hand directly on the back and push instead of trying to grip around the hose.

The angle attachment is definitely a handy tool and unfortunately it seems is needed for 1 zerk on every machine.

Put a grease fitting on the back of the long locknlube and you can easily go from the short one to the long one!

Oh, your talking about the quick coupler. My bad, yes it does leak a slight amount of grease. But it seemed to thread on all the way. I just thought I needed to add Teflon to seal it better.

On a std. Grease gun you pull the stick out on the back a the gun till it meets the resistance of the spring that'll reflect how much grease you have left if you get a stubborn air lock where you can't get you gun to pump I take like a piece of short 2x4 about a foot en half long or so en give the gun a few WELL PLACED smacks just above the output hose on the cap housing to shock the air out of it

You complain of over exertion but still use a manual pump style grease gun. Do yourself a favor and get a M18. It's a game changer!
