Thanks for this video Tom. In my early teens I briefly met David Lockspeiser way back in the early 60's when he was one of the test pilots at Dunsfold, working with my father. My parents had a dinner party and I was introduced to the pilots. It is good to see the achievements of people being remembered like this. One thing that stands out from the video is that the aircraft design is clearly the product of an experienced pilot. Someone who has to sit in the thing and fly it rather than a designer who just watches his craft from the ferry track! Also I wish I'd had the ability, and more so, the energy to oversee the design, building and development of an aircraft when I had a very consuming day job to get on with! Respect!

Перспективные самолеты нестандартных схем уничтожаются, так как авиа концерны не хотят никого пускать на свое поле. Эджли Оптика тоже был сожжен в ангаре. Другие просто не пускают, например самолет Бурнелли с несущим корпусом, не дали разрешения на сертификацию. Много примеров

I stumble across your father's design as I am researching about tandem wings. It is a good idea albeit payload is a bit low for it's intended purpose. I wondered if the idea have been further developed into a larger one with better payload?

+Patrick Josset - Think flying Jeep or pickup truck. It doesn't need to be pretty for its intended use, just practical and rugged.
