Viet Nam has two types of persimmon, one is "ripe persimmon", and the other one is "pickled persimmon" (soak persimmon) or "crispy persimmon" (crunchy persimmon). When eating the ripe persimmon, you can easily peel off the thin coat by hand. It will get a little mushy as the fruit is super tender. For the crunchy type of persimmon, it must be peeled and seeds removed and cut into small pieces before eating. In this video, I will show to you the secret of persimmon.
