My gear box bottom plate will not go back in place.I did not touch the gear mechanism.Only the plate sits about a 1/4 inch higher. What did I do? Suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

My front coupler broke off my 0-6-0 Union Pacific with tender Csn I replace it with and loop coupler?

Hi Douglas: If just the coupler itself is broken, that's a standard catalog service part, item 36030, which should be available through your PIKO retailer. Just one screw holds the coupler in place. If the mounting arm that supports the coupler is broken, that replacement part needs to come from our parts department. That's a fairly simple item to replace. Hopefully it is nothing more than that.
