I saw your request and remembered watching Ed's video on this. "Setting up a four jaw chuck in my Myford ML7 lathe" is the title . A super simple device which I made for my very small Hobbymat Lathe. Hope this is helpful. Regards Garry.

Thanks Ben. on 13 Jan 2020 I posted a video on my channel 'Edwinwhite' showing the manufacture and use of the 'wobbler' device. Title was 'Setting up a four jaw in my Myford ML7 lathe'. I would attach a link, but so far the technology for that eludes me! Appropriately sized I believe the device will work on any lathe. I note Garry's comment that he successfully made one for his Hobbymat. If you have any further queries on the device I will be happy to try and answer. Ed

@@edwinwhite933 Many thanks, I found the video and commented on it. I have also bought the book, just waiting for it to arrive. At the moment I am straightening out my Atlas 10, which is old and worn. I will also do the same to my Myford ML7 which is very little used.

Hi Edwin, Nicely done so far, Martin Evans briefly touches on three cylinder locos in his model valve gear book, I've never built one so beyond that I can't be very helpfull, I have no doubt you will come up with something.

Well that is good to hear you are ok, long covid must be horrendous, luckily for me I have not had covid and let's hope it stays that way.

Michael, having had covid twice trust me if you can avoid catching it do so. It is not a funny illness although in my jaundiced view not necessarily as deadly as the media would have us believe. Best wishes Ed
