@LadyChaCha227 жыл бұрын
Your hair is very pretty and the loctician that installed your extensions did a very good job. Speaking as a loctician, make sure you aren't over retwisting because of the locs not staying. You can cause your hair to thin from retwisting to much. Also you can help last just a little longer by tying them with a silk or satin wrap/scarf and concentrating on the edges but not too tight. Remember locs will look frizzy at times and that's fine, I know I know we want them to look fresh all the time but truly they are to look frizzy at times. I will say interlocking does last longer and no product is need to interlock. You may want to use some oil for maintenance but that's it. Other than that you're are good. Your locs are absolutely beautiful. Oh wait a minute, If you are styling a lot you may experience some thinning. Ok that's all
@WhatDidiSaid7 жыл бұрын
Lady ChaCha thank you for the tips! I definitely am stretching my retwists longer & I am terrified of interlocking because it makes it nearly impossible to comb out your locs right ?
@WhatDidiSaid7 жыл бұрын
Lady ChaCha & won’t interlocking change the barrel shape of my locs?
@LadyChaCha227 жыл бұрын
WhatDidiSaid nope it will not change the cylindrical look the structure will be tighter but nope they will still have that same Barrel look

WhatDidiSaid you are so welcome. Yes it will make it impossible to comb out. Now that is true, but this is my take on locs. I’m a little bias. Lol I love them and I have no pans on taking mine out, but if I ever decide to , I will be cutting them out. I have waaaaaaay too much hair to try and comb out. Lol If you have anymore questions don’t bother to ask. Here’s my email charo.dickerson@gmail.com. It’s been a pleasure chatting with you

My hair also does not stay twisted. The woman who does my hair says it takes month for it to actually lock. I get my hair interlocked like every 4-6 weeks, that catches the new growth up with the loc. Question: how to you keep your edges so laid ? No edge cream seems to work for me

I would like to know if it is recommended to repair weak roots of locs by adding human hair or cutting where the healthy hair begins and adding natural extensions? I have 3 years of growth. My longest strand is 7 inches.

You probably figured it out by now but great 2 vids on extensions I've seen. I usually retwist then do 2 strand twist for week or 2 to keep the retwist then another week I do like a fish tail thing, then loose for like a week or 2 before retwist. I'm planning on getting extensions because I have cut sides but I'm starting the back. Also check out curlcap they have satin lined hats with space for ponytail

Thanks for the update! You had us all shook from the title! Lol. You stated that your locs in the front and in the back are not staying twisted like the locs in the crown area... perhaps it could be from manipulation? I think pulling your locs back and or up can cause that to happen.

@WhatDidiSaid6 жыл бұрын
Depends on how well you manage the extensions. Keep in mind that since it is fake hair being added to real hair, it would require maintenance to keep it looking fresh.

Nappy Scribe ... You must be newly married because what you do to your hair shouldn’t effect your husband attraction to you. For better or for worst, in sickness and in health, fat or small, hair short or long. A real man wouldn’t care as long as it’s groomed. Then a husband makes you “secure and confident” your comments are so problematic please don’t mentor Any young women interested in marriage.

Agreed, it's going to take forever for them to grow she puts them in takes them out the tensions gonna give her alopecia. The extensions don't let the hair ends breath, you're already not cutting your ends the oils can't get to them either, this will be very interested to watch.
