Do you have a website for your hair product? I have Locs for 4 & 1/2 years now & recently wanted to begin doing the 2 strand twist on them to give my Locs more texture after I untwist my Locs 2-3 weeks later. Blessing’s, Sasha Rene’e Also Regarding the rubber bands at the end I take my rubber bands off around a week & 1/2 later Still leaving the 2 strand twist in 2 weeks thereafter.

Hey there. Thats such a great idea for the rubber bands! The website is www.ElaineEssentials.com

Wow you're the first person I've seen with what's looks like my hair type and lock size 😲🤗 I absolutely love my curly kinks too after washing. Unfortunately I've had to combine a few around the edges front and back - slight thinning! I used to swim alot so leakage through my hats didn't help 🤦🏾♀️.... GREAT STYLE 👌🏽 THANKS FOR POSTING 🙏🏾

@RebekahElaine3 жыл бұрын
I’ve used perm rods on the ends once and it was cute but a lot of extra work. I’ve also styled them with small gold clips on the end but I don’t do it often because I can’t have any accessories in my hair while in uniform.

What do y’all think about having dreadlocks with extensions, for Navy bootcamp? Thank you
@RebekahElaine3 жыл бұрын
I think that as long as you can get them into a bun that is within standards, you’ll be good. Hopefully they’re not too long because the longer the locs are, the bigger the bun.

I’d say yes, based on my experience. I’ve always interlocked except to do the same thing- two strand twist. I haven’t had any issues. We’ve been locked for about the same amount of time.

Hey Girlfriend..... I don't believe its been 8 months that I have been on my loc journey... I am having so many conflicting feelings and thoughts about my hair... for one.. I can't say it enough, my locs have made me feel SOoooo lazy about my hair.... to wash it, I don't think I do a good job, I only end up interlocing because I don't like the feel of the new growth.... Its weird because of interlocing I have been able to "keep my length" and my hair is growing like crazy... so it looks great on the surface.. but I haven't attempted to style my hair at all and that makes me feel guilty because I feel so lazy... I don't know what it is... I think I am really just reaping the benefits of not having to do my hair daily as I did when I was a loose natural... its soooo crazy, I can't quite put my finger on it. I love how creative you are with your various styles.. thanks for taking the time to show and share with us!!
