Lodenwalker, 600 year old company, still going strong.

Lodenwalker have been making clothing for outdoor professionals for 600 years. There clothing would and similar Loden gear would have been worn by the first expeditions to Everest and other Himalayan achievements.

How would you rate their 100% wool blankets compared to Merino wool for bushcraft?

I would say that the loden is denser and would keep water at bay longer. Loden friedl do a weather fleck which easily holds rain off for 2 hours.
