Reggae is a form of healing, only love could put an end to wars, unfortunately people live in mediocre realities, but it is beautiful to see how beautiful nature is and how insignificant we are compared to the entire universe. However, this simplicity defines us, we are who we are. Much love and peace, hugs from Brazil.

I play guitar and I cycle between Black Sabbath and reggae quite a lot. My gf finds it funny but she is happy with that, she loves both genres too. One minute blasting the pentatonic at full volume with the amp and the next minute doing an ol' good reggae skank. I just live this older reggae, its impossible to listen to this and not feel inside anything inside you

It had a right to come in but it couldn't last forever. Roots reggae dominated Jamaican music for a decade, and I guess the people reaching their teenage years and young adulthood in the mid to late 1980s wanted someting faster, leaner and brasher. Hence ragga/dancehall.
