I don’t know who this Chris guy is but he got absolutely owned! I mean if you hit the nuts on a non flush board and you can’t get paid off to a set of aces, then some self reflection is warranted. This might be the biggest owned at the poker table of all 2024. It’s funny to me how novice poker players react to what I’ve said too, they are so focused on the small win that they can’t realize how badly they were outplayed. GG Yoo! You are a damn good player sir!

@@l.h.tnguyen4916 I understand, it 's conditioning pocket rockets and all. I've played a hand with pocket rockets, flopped the Ace, Guess what? I lose to a straight. I was so excited, I thought it's a sucker play to push all-in. Wrong. I was the sucker.
@l.h.tnguyen491619 сағат бұрын
@@ben-str You miss the point. If someone shoved all in 10 times on the river, you are folding ten times with AA? Nope. And shoving all in does not give it away. that is a very polarizing play that people do with air. That's why it works to get people to fold. Basically you are saying you would fold to an all in unless you have the nuts. That makes you a losing player in the long run.
@ben-str19 сағат бұрын
@@l.h.tnguyen4916 I'm saying, I learn from real experience. With trip A's, I will lose to a straight. If you can read a possible straight draw, combine this with all-in bet. Caller Beware.

It's not just that Yoochan folded top set, it's that he folded top set in that scenario. Chris called a sizable pre-flop raise, then called another raise with the board showing A 8 2 rainbow. At that point I'd be putting him at 8-8, 2-2, or A-kicker. Would never think that he'd call those bets with 5-4.

I’ve played with Yoochan in this year WSOP Main Event whole Day 2. This guy is one of the best in the world. You know Rampage? He is like nobody compare to Yoochan. Like maybe 5% of his skills. The only thing I would do differently from Yoochan in this hand - I would crazy overbet the turn, like $15K or something. Two pairs or lower set will pay me off. Any double gutters wont have decent odds to call. But yeah, the guy is legit. Was happy to meet him again a few weeks ago at the Lodge.

A regular size raise would suggest he has a lower set or nothing. A jam says 45 or nothing. Pocket 8's would go for value with fold chances on a strong shove, never shove there as they'd kill action from AQ or better, and get stacked from bullets
