I have reduced my luxury handbag collection to 2 bags, and the Loewe Puzzle in medium remains my favorite bag of my (now mostly contemporary) collection. This bag is completely my style aesthetic. I bought it before the prices went completely wild. I'm considering getting another one from the second-hand market.

I just purchased a small sand puzzle bag from Harrods for $2456 plus $30 shipping to USA. I also followed the link from Ratuten and Harrods had a 10% cash back day so that reduced the price about $250.00 . The second hand market seems higher then new.

I got my small puzzle a few months ago pre-loved in the tan with silver hardware. It was barely used and price was roughly around $2200. I think pre-loved is the way to go for this handbag. It’s really expensive to buy brand new. Great review! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I have this exact one, and I can also confirm that I LOVE it. Best bag purchase I have ever made, quality and craftsmanship speaks for it self. I have owned a couple of Chanel bags, but sold them all because I always use this one.

I recently bought the mini puzzle in tan, with silver hardware. I bought an adjustable strap with logo seperatly to give the bag an overall edge. I just love this bag and the leather is parfait 🙂 The tan from Loewe is goals!

I love this bag but I would not pay full price on it unless you want tan or black. The color always goes on sale, you can also go to the outlet. I would love to go to an outlet on day. Love the quality.

A few years back, I saw the black go on sale at ssense for an amazing price. But you are right, typically only the colours go on sale.

I love my medium tan puzzle bag to bits (which I got years ago for $2250 USD, such a good discount!!) and really regret not getting the small back when I had the chance. Loewe has since changed so many things about the small and continues to raise its price (less value for more money) 😩 I do still want the small in either black or avocado because the size is so versatile, but I'm definitely finding it hard to get over the differences between the new and old versions for a larger amount of money. I also worry that the non-classic colors (like avocado) might be at risk of lower quality craftsmanship since Loewe's been releasing endless variations of this bag to capitalize on its popularity. You know how quantity often ends up taking precedence over quality when this happens, sigh. As much as I love Loewe for their understated minimalism, I worry that the puzzle line's rapid expansion might be contributing to some recent oversight in their quality assurance department; I received two defective SLGs this year and had to exchange them several times because the initial exchange replacements also had the same defects. Just some cause for concern as I'd never experienced issues with Loewe craftsmanship prior to this :(

Thanks for the review. I've been contemplating this bag for a couple of years now and I regret not getting it sooner. I'm downsizing my collection consisting mostly of LV, which I still love but will only be keeping key pieces that I actually use and SLGs that I can't live without, to make room for this bag. It's in stock at Holts. How refreshing that something I want is actually in stock. Your bag really is in excellent condition after three years of constant use.

My Puzzle bag has spoiled me for any other bag. Nothing else compares IMO. I think the bags with smooth leather have the white added to the logo and the pebbled leather does not. Mine is exactly like yours.

I love the puzzle.it’s my most comfortable and carefree bag. I’m thinking about getting a second small puzzle in black. I just love the smooth calfskin and how lightweight it is. It is so effortlessly chic!

One way to fix that loose strap is to get a small flat rubber band and hide/tuck it under the strap holder. I only say “flat” in order to prevent indentation, but who knows, maybe a regular band is just fine.

I feel like for $1500 USD, you can get a lambskin or soft calfskin Proenza Schouler Tiny - with just as good craftsmanship and much more organization. I do love the look of the Loewe bags - and yours is a stunner - but we're talking Chanel prices on a Loewe bag - without the return on investment, should you decide to sell it.

Yeah, the price increases on Loewe are really making them comparable in price to Chanel bags. It's funny, even though I love luxury bags, I've never found something from Chanel that I've really loved. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough haha.

So helpful! I have had my small puzzle since May and I love it. I got it pre-loved, I think when I did it was less than a year old, and came to me looking basically like new (from Fashionphile). Mine is the mink/sand colorway, if I ever got another I think I'd like it in a caramel brown, but honestly I feel a bit priced out at this point! Grateful to have the one I do. 🥰

The small is a pretty perfect size. I really want the mini because I just like little bags in general 😀. The only thing I’m hesitant about is the strap on the mini not being adjustable.

I personally like the black! I’m not a huge fan of tan bags, but I think it’s because my wardrobe is mostly dark and I don’t wear a ton of creams/whites/browns. I love the angora colour, it’s a light beige.

hi would like to know if the white anagram logo on the flap of your puzzle has any cracks or starts cracking already? I saw other review and scared that the white embossed logo will crack over time, hesitant to get one with the white logo or just plain embossed.

I used to own the stone blue puzzle and the tan puzzle and used both all the time...no issues with the white anagram cracking. The bag is so durable and comfortable to wear.
