Hi, im gonna get the loewe absoluto 75mil in the old bottle, do you think it could be too changed by the years? its not the oldest edition, just the old squared bottle. Thank youu appreciate your taste

To me, they're similar, I have a bottle from 2016 and tried most recent bottles, smell is the same

Ever visited a Lidl grocery store? Time to time there's a dupe of Solo called G.Bellini Essence Unicko. In case you're interested, although I'm not sure how good it is. Lidl's offerings are sometimes seasonal and if it's not available right now, usually around Valentine's day they stack up bottles.

@@ifishares Yeah it seems like a kind of random - I've never even seen a Loewe fragrance, but my guess is that maybe Solo is or has been popular in Germany and maybe there's a demand for a dupe.

Oh btw, you still have Al Haramain Platinum Oud? How does it compare to Tom Ford Oud Wood? Especially in terms of longevity and also I'd love to hear you opinion about which one of the two is better better in summer? Yeah I know, Oud Wood's not particularly famous about being a summer fragrance :D and I suspect neither is Platinum Oud, but well, that's why I'm asking which one would be better.

Don’t have Platinum Oud anymore. It was too metallic and not that close to the real Oud Wood. There are better alternatives. If you live in the UK try Hector Obeng’s Phwoar.

@@ifishares Thanks, much appreciated! I actually haven't smelled the original TF Oud Wood but had a sample of Novellista Oud Venture and damn that was very good smell! Later I found out that it's a TF Oud Wood dupe. Unfortunatly Oud Venture has very bad longevity. But they say so does the original so maybe it's an accurate copy then :D Anyway, thank you for the Phwoar tip, I'm not in UK but I'll see what I can find to get my long lasting Oud Wood dupe.

The Loewe brand isn't very popular here in the States, which explains why I've yet to put my nose on anything from this house. Still...I've been wanting a few bottles from Loewe for about 10-years - need to get off my arse this year. Cheers!

Their older fragrances are unique, nowadays their are just trying to sell. Notino has a Loewe sample set quite cheap, but I don’t think Notino is back in the states, is it?

If you want to enjoy the oldest solo just buy solo cedro. Nowaday the new version of solo smells different than the oldest. They put the oldest in a new bottle and call it solo cedro
