@@Itsjorgelanzas I did! The end tone sounds nothing like yours (of course, because I have a different guitar with different pickups) but I'm having so much fun tweaking it. I also love adding the Shimmer Reverb at the end of the chain you made. It works for lead parts

I’m glad you’re enjoying it!! If you were to set your input gain at around 70% in the AT5 input meter, you will sound the closest to what I think as doing, at least in terms of overdrive and saturations this is a very saturated tone 😅😅

You should try and make a tone like the dark star pedal from old blood noise endeavors! I wonder if that would even be possible.

I added this tone to Amplitude, and it surprised me when I switched out to different amps that the filters & pedals continued to work well. It was like putting a lowfi filter on them.

Crazy video! Thanks a lot. I was trying to have a similar tone recently. I managed to have something quite similar by adding a ton of EQs at multiple places in the chain, but it missed the “living vibe” you have. It seems I really don’t understand those filters, neither do I understand how effects work at the end of the chain. Thanks a lot for this very helpful video, can’t wait for the next one

Have you ever set amplitude on a vocal and then some of these filters? Awesome video btw you gave me an idea 🫣
@Itsjorgelanzas10 ай бұрын
I have!! And it works just fine!!!! 🔥🔥 just KNOW that you need to be very mindful of the mid range when you use guitar stuff on vocals. I find the midrange gets super crowded every time you do it. So eq-gtr fx-eq. If not, you’ll end up with a lot of midrange harmonics squashed, could be cool but could destroy your mix, ending sounding “garage” 🤣 don’t ask me how I know

Amazing video ! Loved it !! What about you teach us how to record a lofi track ? Like with some drums, bass, piano and beat (just an example) ! Would be awesome learn it from you brother 🤩🔥🙌🏼🎸

My brother! Thank you for your nice comments always! I have given that a thought! I just started experimenting going live in the channel and I hope to be able to incorporate a little bit more of music making and not just guitar. I’m gonna test going live everyday this week to figure out a schedule. I’m gonna do polls and questions in the community section and see what times work for a lot of you 😅 I know we’re all in different time zones.

You are an Amplitube master! Awesome tone creation as usual. What did you have the gain set at on your interface for this one? Thanks!
@Itsjorgelanzas10 ай бұрын
Thank you for your nice comment friend. Every single video I make, I am in the exact same settings in my preamps and converters. I don’t change anything with every guitar plugin I use. Pay attention to the input level in the amplitube input meter, and just like I said on this video itself in minute 5:09, with a single coil guitar (strat or tele style pickups), using your input level meter in amplitube itself on zero(default) you should be watching the input level signal jumping around the ball looking indicator. Please watch the video again, I’m literally answering your question in the video itself my friend! Thanks again for your nice comment and happy tone searching.🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻

Making sure your interface and amp sim software is up to date is helpful too. I struggled with muddy sounds in my amp sim until I found a better gain structure as Jorge keeps mentioning in his videos. I've seen videos on youtube recommending on the interface when you just begin to get a clip warning then go a little lower on gain, but I also see videos saying go a little higher or stay at where the clip warning starts. A little experimentation required. Amplitude has all kinds of settings on input, output, whatever else, and it all makes a difference, and it can easily overwhelm someone just starting in it. I've seen Amplitude reviews where the reviewer has bad gain structure going into Amplitude or inside Amplitude then concluding Amplitude just produces mud and is a bad amp sim.

I agree 100% with you my friend! I see the trend on the internet when someone doesn’t achieve something there’s a propensity to blame it on the gear, and not on oneself and just try to better oneself and learn how to use the gear! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I appreciate your insightful and respectful comment my friend! I hope you’re having a great week! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

if you can do a video on Carlos Santanas guitar tone from his album supernatural that would be great.
