Hahahah I was in that same hertz parking lot last week. And also rented a Corolla. If you would turned left right after the Arctic cathedral you would've been right near the Airbnb I stayed in.

Loved your film man. I’ve been twice to Lofoten, Senja & Lyngen Alps x 2 in Winter. Was supposed to go on a back country tip this year to Lofoten but cancelled due to Covid and I work in a hospital, so all leave cancelled anyway. My trips were solo, involving x country skiing, wild camping and road tripping so really enjoyed the shots of you dining alfresco. Thank you my friend for reminding me why I love that part of the world so much 🏳️🌈🇮🇸🇬🇧🇪🇺

Thanks a lot for your warm words. Exactly a year ago I returned from that trip. I'm also missing Norway, camping and outside dining. But we absolutely will be enjoying all that in future.

I really don't understand why you foreigners always travel by plane to Tromsø to drive by rental car from there to Lofoten. You missed one whole day compared to taking plane to Harstad/Narvik airport Evenes, which you passed late afternoon the day after you arrived in Tromsø. You may also travel to Bodø and connect via another short plain travel to Leknes directly. That would be two days more on site in Lofoten. The weather in Lofoten is very unpredictable, as you experienced. I live close to Leknes, but there are days I never consider to go out with my camera due to the weather conditions.

Well, I'll answer you gladly :) Simply the flight to Leknes/Svolvaer and maybe Bodo was waaay more expensive, maybe 2 times. And at the same time it was nice to take a glimpse at Tromso. To be honest I think I didn't check the price for the flights to Harstad/Narvik, but I guess it was roughly about the same

@@maxzabarovsky1890 Yes, the flight from Bodø to Leknes or Svolvær is very expensive.

@@lillypace156 yes, it's still so much snow in March in the Lofoten and the weather might be harsh, but still it's a wonderful time. Enjoy your trip!
