En stor del af husets varme forsvinder gennem taget. Efterisolering af loftet er derfor en rigtig god idé. Du starter med at efterse dampspærren. Eventuelt ny dampspærre skal lægges mellem spærene og hæftes samt tapes til spærføddernes sider således, at den højst går 20-30 mm op på siden af disse.
