I love that you study candy, you don't just make it, Greg. I love that you study it's history and take us around the world with you via your storytelling. I also love the poetry that you throw in. Speaking of violets, Enya released an album several years ago called Sumerigusa, meaning Wild Violet. One of the songs is inspired by a Japanese haiku about violets and its a great listen!

If you could get the sugar to maintain that beautiful amber color when it's thinner you could make Jurassic Park candy like that piece of fossilized amber with the bug inside. The only question is what flavor? Pine?

I just had no context of what that heavenly aroma was, but now I can eat it! Thank you, guys!

Why are the unicorn dropping so large? It seems like it would be a lot of pieces that you could utilize from that section....Also does the end of the log make another dropping? Can you show us, in a video, how many rods come out of one log? Please keep up the good work-your candy is amazing!!👏🏾👏🏾
@Earendilgrey5 жыл бұрын
The end of the candy is uneven no matter how well you line up the pieces, so the design won't show up well in that end chunk. You end up doing the same with millefori clay beads and glass. Now they could make it into "mistake" pieces of candy but it seems funner to just sell it as a giant speciality piece.
