Did you need to put any extra insulation down under the boarding? Instillation videos show extra insulation but I thought you could put it down as is.

i did not add anymore insulation to give more airflow.

Is the distance between your rafters perfectly 2.4m or did you have to trim your loft boards?

fortunately they are 2.4m so i don't have to do any trimming.

hello. this is the second kit I bought from loftzone buddy. I would say it is sturdy enough for me. just follow the instructions provided. once the T&G floor boards are mounted snugly it will be stable. but make sure you don't put to much heavy stuff on it as the joist is already bearing the weight of the kit. that's why I installed shelving units on the rafters.

hello. the size is 2.4M in width and 3.8M in length. it cost me around £378 for the full kit. I also used some left over materials from my old house which I used to install the shelving units onto the rafters. thanks.
