Great bench, looks like everything has a great flow regarding logistics. 😊

I always loved the smell of split wood. I agree on the proposed rails to keep the splits on the table, too. Seem like a good plan.

Yes, this Tamarack has a good smell. Once I get some more 4x4 installed the gap will be 6 inch maybe less. I need to make a slide of sorts to get the splits closer to the stacking area. Something like 16” wide x 12 feet long with 2x4 edges and maybe a puck board for the bottom, to help get the pieces to slide down ramp.

Thanks, I find them very comfortable, but they don’t hold up as long as some of my other pairs.

Super effort Shane - that little tractor certainly does the business. Does that grabber thing come with it or you have to buy that separately? Liked the close up of the splitter - as silly as it seems i'd not figured out how the wood was being split from the longer shots as i've not seen a machine like that before. Your wood pile looks built to last - sadly those i try at my mothers place in the country have a bad tendency to collapse :( Nice day you had for this one & that new deck certainly takes the strain off the back.

I find cutting and splitting wood relaxing. Hard work will never kill anyone who enjoys that life style.

Nice tractor. Are you running that thing wide open? Like your bucking bench
@NorthwindAcres-ng6hz2 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes, I’m running it full open. Hydraulics do not like to run at low RPMs. Thanks again, the bench will serve me well and save my back. Just need to make a few modification and improvements going forward.

@NorthwindAcres-ng6hz Honestly you shouldn't need to run above 1800rpm most of the time. Maybe have the dealer check the hydraulics?? I'd love to have that tractor, I hope it lasts for you. Nice video!
