You got to be kidding a high end home using weak and unhealthy osb, only a lazy cheap skate builder uses osb,Plywood lasts longer and is far stronger !

Scott Foster, if you are talking about the floor, it was waterproof tongue and groove osb, and I think it was 1 inch thick. Ed said it was about $35 dollars a sheet. So I hope it does ok.

Before I stood walls I would put a couple good coats of quality primer paint, incase it get exsposed to water before weather tighting and if you have any areas with carpet if something spills or a animal piddles on the carpet the sub floor will not absorb odors .

Nothing wrong with OSB.

smalltown442 hey buddy, don’t worry about your sub flooring, you used the right stuff. Don’t worry about painting it either unless you plan on taking a year to get the cabin dried in but I don’t see that being the case. I’m a retired custom hoe builder and your going down the right path and looks like your builder is doing fine. Good luck with the build!
