I am amazed at your abilities in all of the trades to build a house, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framing and most of all being great parents to your children, teaching them things they will be able to use to shelter their families. I was born in Anchorage Alaska before it was a state in 1957, my Dad was stationed at Elmendorf AFB, I later when I was 19 was also at Elmendorf on my way to King Salmon Airport back in 1977 as I served my enlistment in the Air Force. Jesus gives us abilities if we use them things tend turn out great. God loves a man that will work and with Him make something of himself with the help of Jesus. He is first or nothing seems to work, I see it in your kids, the respect and not speaking over their parents, well behaved!!!

Great progress ❤ My Dad had 14 siblings… Dad was 3 rd to the youngest… He had helped with the outdoor chores with cows… but he helped his mother often in the kitchen. Dad was a fantastic cook and taught my Mom to cook. Good job Wyatt… also all your children are wonderful at helping ❤ Thank you 🙏🏻

Joas you remind me of my husband. He was a wonderful carpenter also. He built two different home for us as well as remodeling two other homes. I wish he’d had two sons like you to help him. I don’t know how he did it all along with a full time job with the railroad. He is resting with Jesus now and when I watch you it makes me miss him so much. Thank you for all you do for your family.

Fantastic work on all the trim. It looks amazing. And I love the lanterns that hang out front. Very warm and inviting. Michael and Emily's home is beautiful. The way your family's come together and support one another is wonderful. And each meal that Priscilla plans out is amazing as always. We tried the buttered noodles using some leftover fettuccine pasta. I had to laugh at my family's response. I loved them, the 9 year old granddaughter insisted pasta should be soft. The 7, 11 and 12 year old added cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on and declared them to taste like pretzels. The 3 year old tried them and that was it. The one year old ate them, he loves food. Grandpa ate them with Parmesan cheese but had no comment. We have custody of 6 grandkids so meals are always interesting especially when I try new recipes. I love how down to earth your videos are. They always make me smile and appreciate how you are always grateful and enjoy the simplicity of hands on living.

Everything is looking beautiful. I loved watching you assemble the window trims. That is so beautiful looking. So happy for you all. Things are moving right along. The fried noodles look delicious and I will try that as we always have left overs from when I make spaghetti. The bread looks devine......Yummmmmm and the salad........all of it! I LOVE ARUGLA the salad I make with it is in a pan I warm up olive oil and put slivered almonds with salt and pepper and brown the almonds I then pour it over the arugula and squeeze fresh lemon over it also add tomato and fresh mozzarella Denise salemno

Thank you for this video. I was thrilled to turn my iPad on early this morning as I had my coffee and there you were. I love all your trim, it all stands out and is so different than any other. Watching you eat snow creme reminds me of growing up in Tn. and my Dad making it for us kids when it came a big snow. Many have never even heard of snow creme. It is delicious. After watching you fry noodles I am still puzzled,aren’t the noodles hard and some what dried out after frying ? I am going to try my luck with them and see what I come up with. Now that your cabin is near complete I pray you all are getting some rest and will soon be able to do some of the things that you are in Alaska to enjoy. I wonder if the kids ever miss their home in Montana where they were raised. So I use lots of brown butter and brown butter noodles but I must try these fried ones now! Yeah brown butter on mashed potatoes brown butter on veggies etc. but now I’ll try fried noodles! Thank you for showing us how!

Fried Noodles are good! they sell it in here as a street food called Hong Kong Style Fried Noodles... basically the same way how you cook it minus the seasonings because that comes after the noodles are fried. They have different kind of seasoning that you can choose and ur the one who will put it on ur fried noodles depending on the combination that you like. There's Soy Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, Sweet and Sour Sauce, Chili Sauce and This Peanut Sauce and toppings are usually Siomai... it's kinda like dumpling/meatballs.

I have never heard of fried noodles before. May have to try them as I am a pasta noodle lover. Also, the preparation of the green beans was new to me. Joas, the extra trim on top of the front window frames was an elegant touch.

I have enjoyed watching your cabin being built. It’s amazing to me that you can measure so accurately to make everything fit. When I help with building something my husband will ask, “ how long should that piece be cut?” My answer is “26 and two of those little lines”.😀😀
