Log4Shell: The web of (inter)dependencies

Recently the cyber world was suddenly faced with the major security vulnerability Log4Shell. By utilizing a simple Java library, companies were suddenly vulnerable in a way they had never realized or anticipated.
In this talk we will investigate the Log4Shell case and identify why this vulnerability had such a global impact and why supply chain attacks are becoming more prevalent.
We will dive deeper into the cyber killchain of this attack, the potential impact and how organizations can protect themselves by implementing an effective DevSecOps and Vulnerability Management process.
