Storage compagnies facilities the supply for retailers often buy bulk to have better prices, if sales drop and stock is sitting there, normal retailers won’t buy more and then the date comes close to being expired. Thus in order to not have a 100% hit, the big warehouses sell it to dollar stores in bulk as well to get rid of the left over stock.

I tried the Blue, Red, Pink and White flavoured PRIME and it was horrible. The blue flavour tasted like Gatorade but with 10x more sugar, the red was just sickly sweet, the white flavour had a weird melted plastic type aftertaste the pink was half decent but still just mid tbh I remember a time in the UK where trying to get your hands on a bottle of Prime was like trying to find diamond in Minecraft.

Yea I think the downfall of prime comes down to their lawsuits, and the less promoting of the brand. They also haven’t come out with a new flavour in awhile and it seems people are just bored of prime now. The hype is simply over and it’s now just a regular drink. Also they seemed way too focused on signing celebrities and making these exclusive bottles that went for ridiculous prices. Rather than you know, making new flavours.
