To answer the WWE/Pro wrestling questions: - Wrestlemania isn't brand specific. You got both Raw and Smackdown matches on there. It's just the biggest and most historic PPV of the year. In fact none of the PPVs are brand specific. - None of the adults in the audience believe it's real, lol. It is a mixture of theatre, sports and storytelling. You've got good guys and bad guys just like a TV show. No one thought Miz actually turned on Logan IRL. The audience is in on the fun as well. You just act accordingly in the moment. You'd be shocked/surprised/happy whenever there's a plot twist or an underdog overcomes obstacles in a movie or a tv show, right? Same thing with pro wrestling, but you get to watch the story unfold live instead.

I love WWE and pro wrestling/sports entertainment whatever you want to call it, and I’m a trainee pro wrestler. This might be a long response, so I apologise lol. WRESTLEMANIA isn’t brand specific, as Randy was mentioning, talent from both brands Raw and SMACKDOWN take part in the event. Wrestling imo is the greatest form of sports entertainment (might be a bit biased), it’s literally a concert, live theatre, athleticism all in one. If you haven’t, gone to a WWE event, even if you haven’t watched WWE since you were a kid or have never watched it, I guarantee you will have a great time, amazing experience, TV doesn’t do it justice. In terms of the audience/fans, everyone knows wrestling is pre determined, notice I use the word pre determined and not fake. Wrestling by any means is not fake. Many think the ring, is a trampoline or a bouncy castle, but it’s literally ply wood, with steel and a very thin layer of padding. At wrestling school, we are taught how to fall aka take a bump, to minimise the impact and land safely. Also timing and coordination is key, your priority in a match, is to take care of your opponent, their life it literally in your hands. Fans are so invested in the storyline that takes place in be ring, when The Miz turned on Logan, fans were shocked, not in a real life sense, everyone knows it’s scripted but in terms of the story being told. It’s harder these days, but wrestling tries to suspend the belief of the audience, The Undertaker is a great example. Back in the 90’s or even early 2000’s, many thought The Undertaker was actually a deadman lol, it’s just since a few years, he pulled back the curtain and is giving an insight to the person behind the character. Hopefully that answers your questions lads, love the podcast btw, and if you want to bring a WWE fan on the podcast, would love to attend 😉👊🏾

As a wrestling fan of all wrestling to answer both questions 1. I fell out of love as a kid because of wwes decline in quality and it being way too fake but fell back in interest because of other wrestling companies in japan and america and 2. I think that’s the aim of branding (in regards to the the discussion around 18:00). You may not necessarily know every inch of the brand / logo, but you have an association of what it is… e.g. red can, black cursive = coke. Yellow M = McDonalds. I think sidemen vs beta squad charity match would bang, plus get a bit of competition and hype going. I get what simon is saying but I think because most people would struggle to play the full 90 mins there will need to be subs regardless and if each team has about 20 players each that would cover a lot of the big uk youtubers. Sidemen could have the likes of Chris MD, Theo Baker, Reev, cal and cal, chip (baiscally youtubers who are closer to their friend group). Whereas Beta Squad would obviously have harry pinero, darkest man etc. If each of the teams chooses their players individually then there shouldn’t be anyone who is left out

How about Sidemen Bites or something, like Sidemen Shorts... but going off of Randy's thought of perhaps getting shorter Sidemen videos of simply the concept. 3:28 Naturally I wouldn’t expect Randy or Simon to understand this and I don’t blame them. But regardless of anything Will Smith says or does, this has set us black people as a whole back many years because we worked so hard just to get recognised for Oscar’s and such high privileges yet now we’ve gotten here Chris Rock & Will Smith have both shown us up. I’d be surprised if they let any black person host the award ceremony in the future just based of this incident alone, which might not be fair but it’s also the harsh reality. Will Smith will probably never win best actor again even if he deserves it, because it will always now be a bad look for the awards just being associated with his name.

So I didn't say it was respected then. We live in a day and age where people feel too safe and almost obligated to be as callous and nasty with their words/memes as possible and expect nothing back. Humans are emotional, we also don't get to tell the victim how to react regardless if you or I like the results. If Chris Rock can say whatever he wants, he should understand that repercussions can happen. Much like if Chris Rock was to have pressed charges or sue Will Smith, Will would have to understand that was the repercussion to his actions that night.

@@joelbadham7472 how was Chris being callous or nasty, his job was literally to make fun of the audience, and in reality what he said was very tame, especially with what he could have said.

Just wanted to correct Randy's line about The Oscars wanting "respectable people" to win their award's, there's bare scumbag actors who've won those awards so Will Smith slapping Chris is obviously reckless behavior but it's far from some of the darker stuff some of those winners have done so the Oscars can't necessarily take the "moral high ground" on that (AND this ain't to defend Will coz i couldn't care less about what happens in that Hollywood bubble, just clarifying Randy's statement a bit for context for those who think this is some sort of big scandal, it's a viral scandal but it's far far from some of the other nonsense winners have done before who ended up getting stripped of their award's down the line retroactively when the dirt couldn't be hidden anymore 😂).

Randy's fact that nobody used the phrase bucket list until the film came out in 2008 is complete rubbish.

I don't think xqc will do the subathon soon, he needs to fix his sleeping schedule, he doesn't sleep at all and he said he has bad nightmares like every other night where he wakes up and just runs everywhere around the house he even showed that he smashed a hole inside a wall above his bed during this. So yeah, hopefully he gets better.

I highly doubt this could happen but let’s say wwe plans to do wrestlemania in London one day and they get ksi to build up hype in uk and imagine they get ksi and rock (as that’s JJs favourite) teaming up against a team and we see JJ hit the rock bottom
